Britney Spears‘ boyfriend is no womanizer. Multiple sources are slamming a recent tabloid claim that Spears’ beau Jason Trawick cheated on the singer at L.A. club Roger Room Dec. 30 — including Milana Rabkin, one of the women spotted with Trawick on the night in question.
A source explains to UsMagazine.com that the Dec. 30 gathering at Roger Room was a birthday party for “one of Jason’s bosses” at WME, the Hollywood agency that employs Trawick. “I used to work at WME. It was my old boss’ birthday and we were all hanging out,” Milana Rabkin, 22, tells UsMagazine.com exclusively. She and Trawick, she says, “worked together” recently. “We send him scripts,” says Rabkin who now works at Energy Entertainment. That night at Roger Room, she and a friend joined Trawick and a married male WME colleague to talk shop.
Rabkin says she and Trawick discussed a screenplay for a potential film; “we had actually sent [the script] to him to read for Taylor Swift,” she adds. “We were hanging out and catching up on that. It was purely professional.”
Around 1:45 a.m., the foursome left for the Standard hotel. “We were hungry, and I really wanted to talk to Jason about the script,” Rabkin explains.
“They did go to the Standard,” the source confirms. “The girls and Jason’s friend had food. Jason didn’t. Jason then left and went home.”
Trawick and Spears, 28, have been dating since spring of 2009. Pals have told Us Weekly that the Hollywood agent has stood by the pop star in her darkest days, and has become close with her two sons. “[Britney] has been honest with Jason about what she’s been through in a way that I don’t think she’s been with other people, and he always preferred to not sugarcoat the harsh reality of what happened to her,” says a friend. “He tells her when she should take responsibility for her own actions.”
“Those Madonna rumors started from a joke my boy DJ Mehdi made in an interview. Then it spread to Madonna fan-sites. Then the Daily Star fabricated a quote from me. Next thing you know it was on NME and MTV. I’m not opposed to the idea, but it’s all fiction for now. By the way, DJ Mehdi is producing the next Britney record.”
It seems like there's trouble in paradise for Britney Spears and Jason Trawick.
We haven't seen the couple together since the 16th of December and even their last few appearances together didn't seem too blissful.
Our Britney expert photographer tells us:
"Britney has just been in a funk recently. The last few times we spotted her with Jason, they didn't seem to be getting along. Honestly, Jason seems like Britney's b*tch. She tells him what to do and he does it and even then, she usually looks annoyed with him."
Back on December 6th, you may remember, Brit yelled at Jason for leaving her alone in the Fred Segal cafe while he chatted outside on his phone.
Later on in the month, we spotted Jason driving Brit around town - while she was asleep! And it wasn't the first time ... our photographers told us they had seen Jason doing that a lot recently -- seemingly rocking Britney to sleep with the motion of the car so she could fight her insomnia and get some rest. But why the stress and sleep deprivation? Perhaps her relationship with Jason was at the root of it ...
Our photographer tell us:
"They were never really that close. Jason isn't really Britney's type, either."
Maybe not, but Brit and Jason were together at least... right? Sources tell us that may not be the case.
We're hearing that Britney's relationship was perhaps only half-hearted at first but descended into a full-on PR push by her family and handlers and maybe even from Jason himself. The source tells X17 Brit and Jason's relationship was a convenient publicity sham -- it made Britney look happy and healthy which pleased her family and management and it satisfied Brit's need to appear responsible the "recovered" from her past problems in the eyes of the court.
The story goes, Britney went along with it at first and for a while she was genuinely interested in Jason, if for no other reason than that he was relatively cute and offered her stability and friendship. But that eventually, as it became clear to Brit that Jason wasn't right for her, her parents began to force the relationship by planting stories in the media about how great Jason is and how perfect he is for their daughter. At that point, with public opinion behind their relationship, Britney had almost not choice but to continue dating Jason. But it seems now, the ruse may be up!
We haven't spotted Jason around at all for the past three weeks. If Britney's in town while he's in town, why aren't they spending time together?
And Britney's mom Lynne was just in town visiting -- perhaps to console her daughter after a difficult breakup? Britney was certainly in a bad mood yesterday when we spotted her at the Mondrian, hiding from our lenses under a blanket as she entered the hotel. And then her mom left town, leaving Brit by her lonesome, at the hotel with her assistant, but Jason nowhere in sight ...
Could this be the end of Britney and Jason and if so, will their professional relationship continue?
Britney Spears started off her day around 11 a.m., first stopping by a music studio on Wilshire - where she was working on her latest album! So excited for that, natch. Then our girl was dropped off in Bev Hills for a little retail therapy...
Our photogs on the scene say that Brit "seemed relieved to get out of the house," or in this case, her hotel!, and that she "appeared to be in better spirits than in recent days."
Then Britney stopped at Pottery Barn for some moderately priced home furnishings and afterward, headed to the Chateau Marmont around 2:45 pm.
Jason Trawick was there waiting for her. So it looks like the twosome are at least on friendly terms. Maybe their rough patch is smoothed over temporarily?
The two just left the hotel together in the same car -- Brit's bodyguard driving Jason's car and Jason chauffeuring Britney in her car. They stopped at Jason's house to pick up what appeared to be an overnight bag for him and then headed to Britney's house!
What does all of this mean ... Are these two back together? Are they just friends? Just business associates? Business associates spending the night together???!
Yesterday afternoon Britney Spears shopped in Beverly Hills with her entourage, and while I'm happy to see the pop princess out enjoying life, I am a little bit concerned about her hair situation. Not sure if it's just a little product build up or her weave ripping some of her hair out, but methinks Britney's locks need a conservator right about now.

Britney Spears has been named the worst celebrity autograph signer to come through Canada in 2009. Celebrity autograph and entertainment news website HoundsTV.com placed the singer at the top of a list of six.
The site reported that Spears was rarely seen by autograph seekers while in Canada with her Circus tour. She reportedly used private entrances and decoys to get in and out of her hotels.
Spears ranked ahead of other celebrities including Elton John, U2, Stephen King, Metallicaand the cast of the next Twilight film, Eclipse.
Among the best celebrity autograph signers were George Clooney, the Jonas Brothers, Michael Jordan, the cast of New Moon, Sidney Crosby and Yusuf Islam.
